Monmouth Photographic Club
Monmouth Photographic Club is a small group of enthusiastic amateur photographers. We meet on a Friday on a weekly basis from the beginning of September to Easter. We cover a wide range of photographic experience from absolute beginners to experienced amateurs with many years experience. No matter what level of experience we have members are always eager to learn new techniques as demonstrated by the recent upsurge in interest in digital photography.
The philosophy of the club is to help members enjoy and improve their photography. The meetings help to achieve this in a variety of ways
Talks and demonstrations on a variety of photographic topics.
Visits by experienced photographers to talk and exhibit their work
Member's evenings when members share their experience or participate in assessing each others work. Members decide on the content and topics.
Competitions are held monthly and provide an opportunity to see each others work and see how your own work is improving.
Members share their experience during Easter to September by meeting on an informal basis and going on small group photographic trips. Inexperienced members are guided by more experienced members.
